Mama Jean’s Closet started from something really simple — my love for clothes, good finds, and wanting to build something of my own.

The name comes from my partner’s grandmother, Mama Jean. She has that effortless kind of style and confidence that didn’t try too hard but always stood out. More than anything, she just had a presence about her that is warm, genuine, and strong.

If you ever stepped into her home, you’d understand immediately. She has a little bit of everything — clothes tucked away with stories behind them, jewelry passed down through generations, classic pieces mixed with everyday favorites, and treasures you didn’t even know you were looking for until you found them. Her style is timeless, practical, sentimental, and full of life — just like her.

That’s exactly what inspired me to create Mama Jean’s Closet.
